Stay at Home No More

Being a stay at home mom was the only thing I had on my resume for the longest time but I’m really glad I got my resume out there and found this job. I’m working as a receptionist which some people probably think is beneath them but I love it because I can totally leave it at the office when I go home and I don’t have to worry about the stress being too much. I spend a lot of time looking into things for my boss like flights and direc4u for his house and dinner reservations and in that way I guess I’m more like a personal assistant. I don’t really mind though because I feel like I’ve got years of doing that for my own husband under my belt and that makes me really good at what I’m doing! I love being a member of a team and the office makes me feel great about myself. There’s something to be said for having colleagues who appreciate and respect you and I know that mine do!
