On Monday, Yahoo! released their top 2008 search terms. Britney Spears was the top search for 2008. WWE was second and Barack Obama was third. Yahoo said that "The singer's steep trajectory to redemption restored her to the top of searches." American Idol was the 10th most popular search overall.
